Proactive, not reactive
We monitor, patch, and harden your environment continuously. Most issues are resolved before your team ever notices. When something does come up, you get fast, knowledgeable help from a team that already knows your setup.
Veldtech Total Care delivers proactive support, enterprise-grade cybersecurity, and one partner who knows your environment. Built for small and mid-sized businesses across Sacramento, Citrus Heights, and Northern California.
Most small businesses outgrow their first IT vendor before they realize it. The signs are familiar: slow responses, projects that never quite finish, surprise invoices, recommendations built around the cheapest option instead of the right one. Veldtech Total Care is built for the next stage.

Every Total Care decision runs through the same question: does this protect the client's data? You get our full layered security stack, the same architecture documented on our Cybersecurity Stack page, included in every tier.
The tools we deploy have kept our clients secure and supported for over five years. We do not chase the newest acronym. We deploy what works, document it cleanly, and stand behind every recommendation.
Help desk, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor coordination, onboarding, and offboarding all live with the same team. No finger-pointing between security and IT, no surprise gaps, no "that's not us" answers.
Veldtech Total Care is shaped by the kinds of businesses we already support: companies with office staff, field teams, distributed workers, and compliance obligations. Three sectors where our model fits especially well:
Project files, plans, customer data, and field-team communication all need to stay secure and accessible across job sites. We support office staff and project managers while keeping field crews equipped and connected.
Distributed crews, route management, and seasonal staffing put real demands on your IT. We pair full office support with the lighter-touch tools field staff actually need to stay productive on the road.
Patient data, scheduling systems, and clinical workstations have real compliance weight. We design environments that support HIPAA obligations without making the work harder for clinicians and office staff.
Total Care is priced per user and built around the way small businesses actually work. The bundle below is what every Total Care client gets, regardless of tier. The differences between Standard and Premium are detailed in the section that follows.
Responsive remote support during business hours from a team that already knows your environment.
Multi-factor authentication, password management, and centralized identity through Microsoft 365.
Continuous monitoring, patching, and policy enforcement on every supported laptop, desktop, and mobile device.
AI-powered phishing protection, anti-malware, and account takeover defense across Microsoft 365 and Teams.
Independent backups for Microsoft 365 data and workstations, ready to restore when something goes wrong.
Managed firewall, threat-intelligence filtering, and network infrastructure with segmentation and visibility.
SIEM-based log aggregation, real-time threat detection, and coordinated response across the environment.
Every new hire and every departure handled cleanly: account provisioning, device prep, access removal, data preservation.
One scheduled review per year, with quarterly check-ins on request. Practical guidance, not slide decks.
Two tiers cover the needs of most small businesses. Standard is the right starting point for most teams. Premium adds advanced threat detection, hosted virtual desktops, and the deepest level of monitoring and response.
$180per user per month
Comprehensive managed IT and cybersecurity for office-based teams.
$200per user per month
Everything in Standard, with advanced threat detection and hosted infrastructure.
Microsoft 365 licensing is sold separately so you stay in control of license mix and pricing changes. Essentials and Part-Time tiers are available by quote for businesses with specialized seat profiles or low-use users.
Total Care is designed to be predictable. Here is what to expect on contracts, what is included in the per-user price, and what is handled separately.
A one-time onboarding fee equal to your first month of service covers the work to bring your environment up to our standards: device enrollment, identity setup, security baselines, documentation. Engagements are month-to-month. We do not require an annual contract.
Microsoft 365 licensing is always a separate line item, billed at cost. Project work, structured cabling, and software outside our standard stack are quoted separately. Hardware is reimbursed at cost, except for short network cables, which we provide. Hardware ordered through our HAAS service is included.
Help desk runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific. Annual IT strategy reviews are included; quarterly reviews are available on request. Issues caused by changes made without our approval, or third-party vendor service fees, are billed through to the client.
The platforms below are the operational core of Total Care. Every client environment is built and managed using this same toolset, so our team carries deep, hands-on familiarity with each one.
For the full architectural picture of how these tools fit together across seven layers of defense, see the Cybersecurity Stack page.
Veldtech Total Care supports HIPAA and PCI compliant environments.
Help desk, identity and access management, endpoint and device management, email and cloud security, backup and disaster recovery, network and infrastructure management, monitoring and response, and onboarding and offboarding. Every tier includes the full layered cybersecurity stack documented on our Cybersecurity Stack page. Premium adds advanced threat detection, DNS filtering, hosted infrastructure, and a hosted Windows Session Host environment.
No. Microsoft 365 licensing is always sold separately. Microsoft changes its pricing and license mix often, and clients regularly want to upgrade, downgrade, or shift seats between SKUs. Keeping licensing as a separate line item lets us stay flexible on the bundle and keeps your per-user Total Care price stable. Service-account licenses are passed through at cost as well.
Month-to-month. We do not sign annual contracts. We earn the renewal every month by delivering the level of service we promised.
Yes. The one-time onboarding fee is equal to your first month of Total Care service. Bringing a new environment up to our standards takes substantial work: device enrollment, identity baseline, security policies, backup configuration, documentation, and user training. The onboarding fee covers that work.
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific. Critical incidents that fall outside business hours are addressed on a best-effort basis through our monitoring and response systems.
Yes. Most of our clients have a mix of office staff and distributed workers, including field crews across multiple states. Our deployment model is built for that pattern. Office staff are typically on full Total Care; field staff often run on lighter cybersecurity-only or quote-only Part-Time configurations sized to how they actually work.
Veldtech supports HIPAA and PCI compliant environments today. The technical controls in our stack, including SIEM logging, MFA, encryption, access controls, and audit trails, map directly to common HIPAA and PCI requirements. Compliance is ultimately a shared responsibility, and we work with your team and your auditors to make sure the IT side holds up.
Hardware is reimbursed at cost. The exception is short network cables under five feet, which we provide. If you prefer not to manage hardware procurement and lifecycle, our HAAS (hardware as a service) program rolls device cost into a predictable monthly fee with no separate reimbursement required.
Structured cabling, custom development, large project work, surveillance system installation, certified drive destruction, and licensing for third-party software outside our standard stack are not included. Project work and ad-hoc consulting are quoted separately. Third-party vendor service fees, where a vendor charges us to work alongside their team on their software, are passed through to the client.
Tell us about your environment, your current setup, and where things keep going wrong. We will follow up with a Total Care quote sized to how your business actually operates.
